Steven Feldstein, former Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, joined the firm in 1984 and practices labor and employment law.
Mr. Feldstein has represented and counseled companies in diverse areas of labor and employment law. His practice has included advising management in key employee relations, trade secrets protection, avoiding and litigating wrongful termination and employment discrimination claims, employee handbooks and policies, workforce reductions, NLRB proceedings, union avoidance, arbitration and collective bargaining, OSHA compliance and wage and hour disputes. He has also counseled companies on the employment-related ramifications of corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Feldstein has lectured on labor and employment law at Stanford University, St. Mary's College, College of Marin and additional seminars for attorneys, human resources professionals and others. He is the co-author of "Settlement," Wrongful Employment Termination Practice (CEB, 1987), and "Handling the Wrongful Discharge Action," Personal Injury Handbook (James Publishing, 1991).
