Attorney Biography

Andrew R. Ben-Ami joined Heller Ehrman in 1999 and practices tax law.

Experience

Mr. Ben-Ami has broad experience in tax planning for businesses and individuals. He has advised clients in both federal and New York State and City tax matters, including representation in tax examinations. Mr. Ben-Ami has also worked extensively with tax-exempt organizations, especially on matters involving unrelated business taxable income, and investments. He has written numerous articles, and has lectured on various subjects involving tax-exempt organizations at conferences sponsored by New York University, among others.
