Louisa Barash joined the firm in 1990. She is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Transactions Practice Group, as well as the Corporate/VLG Practice Group. Ms. Barash is a former Chair of the firm's Seattle Business Practice.
Ms. Barash’s practice focuses on information technology transactions; including strategic alliances, in-bound and out-bound licensing, acquisitions and dispositions, outsourcing, system acquisitions, commercialization strategies and e-commerce. She also advises clients in the areas of distribution and franchise law. Ms. Barash has also represented lenders/investors, issuers and borrowers in a broad range of public and private debt and equity financing transactions. Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Ms. Barash practiced corporate and securities law with a national law firm in New York City.
